The Billing & Collections Division is located on the ground floor of City Hall at 10 Salem Street. We are open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Friday (closed on City holidays). There is on-street parking and a public parking lot directly across Salem Street. There is also a lot behind the building with handicapped accessible parking. You may contact us be email.
You may pay your bill five ways - Mail, Automatic Draft, In-person, via Western Union Speedpay (online or phone), and the night drop box.
If you have had your service disconnected please call (336) 475-4238 to find out your exact amount due (for online or phone payments) or come into the office to re-initiate service.
Mailed payments are accepted, however we are not responsible for the U.S. mail service. Payments may be delayed or lost in the mail. If you pay by mail please DO NOT send cash. If you use your bank's bill pay service or if you mail your payment send it to the address below:

Automatic Bank Draft can be arranged through the billing department. You can sign up at City Hall, please bring a voided check.
In-person payment is only available at City Hall from 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM Monday - Friday. You may pay with cash, check, money order, or through a credit card kiosk. If you need help with credit card transactions staff are available to help walk you through the process.
Online Western Union Speedpay is available online through your computer or smart phone. NOTE: Western Union is the only authorized 3rd party bill pay vendor the city currently uses. If you use DOXO or any other 3rd party vendor your payment may not be received before cut-off, we are not responsible for payments made through 3rd parties.

1. Make sure you have the following ready before you call:
(1) Account Number,
(2) Payment Amount, If you don't know your bill amount please call (336) 475-4238 and press "2" to talk to a Collections Clerk (only available 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday)
(3) a payment method (checking account or VISA/MasterCard Credit/Debit Card).

3. Press 1 to use Western Union Speedpay.
4. Follow instructions to make a payment.
A Night Drop box is available to the right of the front door on 10 Salem Street. Please do not put cash in the drop box. Please make sure that your account number is on your check or money order or that your payment stub is attached.
