Thomasville Fire & Rescue is certified through the North Carolina Association of Rescue and EMS to provide Trench Rescue.
This certification requires members of the department to successfully complete approximately 120 hours in general technical rescuer education material, as well as an additional 64 hours of specialized trench rescue education.
