FY 2019-20 City Budget Available for Public Viewing

The City Manager presented his budget to the City Council on Monday, May 20, 2019. The budget provides for a spending plan for the operations of the City of Thomasville for the period July 1, 2019 - June 30, 2020. It includes funds for operations, personnel, equipment, and capital construction projects. The City Council will hold a Budget Public Hearing on Monday, June 3 at 7:00 PM at the City Council Chambers, located at 7 W. Guilford Street, 2nd floor (Police Department). Any citizen may come and speak on issues related to the budget. A complete budget is available for public viewing at the Thomasville City Hall, City Clerk's Office, 10 Salem Street, during business hours.

The Manager's Budget does not propose any tax increases. The Water and Sewer rate increase will average 1.25%, based on the adopted 2017 Rate Analysis.
