The Davidson County Community Action Board is tasked with helping people and changing lives. Their mission is to help low income families move out of poverty by: 1) Connecting people to community resources; 2) Coaching people to help themselves; and, 3) Calling attention to inequality in our county.
Members of the Board come from local government, citizen representatives, and other representatives that come from the business, religious, law enforcement, or education oriented groups.
Thomasville has two members, one appointed by the Mayor and one City Council member or their representative.
