The Thomasville City Beautification Commission is a group of dedicated volunteers commissioned by the Thomasville City Council to beautify and enhance our community and to inspire others to do likewise. Through the commission's efforts and through awareness, Thomasville benefits in terms of Economic Development and recruitment, as well as a sense of pride in a clean and beautiful community.
Projects this Commission is responsible for include the planting of the flower beds at the entrance signs, the Big Chair, fountain, and mini-park downtown. The Commission oversees the downtown Christmas Decorations and sponsors annual events such as "Spring Daze" and "Light Up the Holidays."
Members are appointed to three-year terms, with unlimited re-appointments.

The Commission meets the 3rd Thursday of every month at 8:30 a.m. in the Board Room of City Hall, 10 Salem Street unless otherwise notified.
